Community Partner Spotlight: Full “STEAM” Ahead
Dr. Alecia Gabriel and Deirdre Roberson, MSc are the founders of Motor City STEAM and the Lab Drawer. Together, their mission is to create a pipeline of ethnically and racially diverse, rigorously trained students to fill jobs requiring STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics) skills by introducing them at an early age.
PARTNERSHIP IMPACT
From utilizing our STEAM kits, there is an overall 33% increase in subject matter knowledge from pre- to post-exam.
